The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on CO-PO Mapping was conducted over six days for faculty members across all departments from 22/7/2024 to 8/8/2024. The primary objective of the programme was to provide a comprehensive understanding of Course Objectives (COs), Course Outcomes (COs), and Programme Outcomes (POs).
During the sessions, faculty were guided through the principles and practices of aligning COs with POs, enabling them to effectively map these outcomes to ensure quality in academic delivery and assessment. Hands-on exercises and collaborative discussions were integral to the programme, fostering practical understanding and application of CO-PO mapping techniques.
To evaluate the workshop’s effectiveness, participants were assigned the task of mapping CO-PO for a specific subject. This activity allowed faculty to demonstrate their learning and provided an opportunity for feedback and refinement of their mapping skills.
